work: aaaah.
Jul. 21st, 2005 12:11 pmI'd just like to point out that I have a medical reason to put my feet up on my desk.
I have a new cubicle at work. This shouldn't be exciting, but it is -- I swear, I got the nicest cubicle on the floor. It's big, it's in a corner, it's at the end of a row, there are 5-foot-high stripes of window in each wall looking out onto lots of rustling trees, and it's quiet. Blissfully quiet. Plus, I have a stuffed wombat and a stuffed Gobo, and my feet are up on the desk.
Work is going pretty well. I can't get my head around the fact that I am enjoying my job and it's mostly not stressful. Usually, those two things don't go together. I'd better enjoy it now, while it lasts.
