lyonesse and whynotkay both expressed interest in knowing how these silk toe socks worked out for me. Well, I just got them, and they are fantastic. They're thin, a 70% silk / 30% poly blend, and they're fitted -- which means that not only do they have a heel, but they have a big toe and a small toe. So, you have to be careful to match left socks up with right socks. Other than that, they were fantastic - warm, silky, awesome, thin enough to wear under Vibram FiveFingers.

Drawback: they're only available shipped from China. They're only $2.60 each, so I ordered 5 pairs and wound up paying about $27, which was worth it to me.

I am putting together an order for people so we can split shipping. Comment here if you're interested! Please include # of pairs and whether you want 7.5-9.5 or 5-7.5, and note that you'll probably have to pick them up at my house or my office.
