I have been restrained.

I have not posted about every single flurry and inlet of house angst. I have omitted entirely the phone calls and papers and anxious moments of "who on earth would give me a mortgage when I can't find matching socks".

But today, when the substitute loan guy told me, offhandedly, in the middle of another thought even, "Oh, no, there's no way this can close by the 30th," even though normal-loan-woman had promised this, even though she'd ordered the appraisal weeks ago and he agreed that that was the big hangup, even though we'd gone with this bank because they were pleasant and happy to close by the 30th, it became too much for me.

So.

I HATE BANKS. There. Ha. Mostly, I hate being jerked around and lied to. I suppose that's forgivable.

It may work out. Who knows? Probably will. I'm certainly working on that. But the fact that he didn't even see fit to TELL me this before just makes me see RED.
