So, David and I are going to Chicago next weekend, and I'm really jazzed for it. A bunch of really great people are going to strap on the shiny jackboots and sleek earpieces and be the MIB security team for MUNUC. I really have no idea why oppressing high school students is so fun... banging on doors at 2 AM and hauling boys in boxer shorts out of girls' closets just amuses me, I guess. Plus, we get posh top-floor accomodations at the Palmer House, and there's more than enough tequila to go around.

Even better is getting to spend a couple of days in Chicago. I just called M., whom I haven't seen in a year - it's fun to hear people smile while talking.
