I want love in the af-ter-noon...
Jun. 25th, 2002 03:54 amIt's kind of fun being time-shifted this many hours. I come in early, write my personal emails, and then, since nobody's up yet on the East Coast, I have several hours of no new email, no new livejournal, and therefore, no good reason to slack off.
(OK, no easily-available time-sensitive excuse to slack off. I always have a reason.)
Anyway, as a result, I get lots of work done in the mornings. Then, when the afternoon rolls around, instead of feeling bogged-down, I feel spritely.
This morning, my boss saw me using a text mailer (yay mutt) and started up a conversation which contained the line:
"You know, I wish [our new ticketing system] had a web interface I could use with my text browser."
Yeeee! I mean, I wish that, too, but I'm having a hard enough time convincing my boss in Lexington that it should be web-enabled at ALL. Did I mention that this system is so mouse-happy, when we introduced it, three of my coworkers had RSI pains within the month?

Date: 2002-06-26 03:30 pm (UTC)I dislike the time-shifting, because it means I have to be up until late-late-late if I want to talk to people after they get home from work.
