Back. Tired. I have roughly twelve or thirteen posts in my head; I'll be lucky if I get one of them written down. For now, though, I'll just note that one of the saddest tiny things in the world is a kid who's having a run of bad dreams and can talk in her sleep. Though, the one where she was worried that nobody would come get mommy and then was comforting me and telling me it would be okay (in her dream) was pretty sweet.

Still -- hearing a tiny squeaky sleepy "help me! no! help me!" come out of her dream makes me want to run into her head and be mean to whoever isn't helping her in there.

Simon, if you ask him what he dreamt about last night, will invariably answer "jaguars". And he did in fact once say in his sleep "Jaguars. Jaguars coming."

I think I may be in a Ray Bradbury short story.

*So* sad. I am, however, totally in love with her narrations of her dreams when she is awake.
