Ah! Thanks. Sadly, I'm not a Star Trek geek. That's a more logical explanation than my idea of him as a weird alien conspiracy theorist, although a bit less entertaining.

Or trying to make you paranoid. The movie starts off with the Klingon moon, Praxis, being blown up, and the Klingons blame the Federation...maybe he's in a role playing game?
