You know what I think floors me about this, its not that they want to encourage people who are unwed to abstain, its that they call it "education". I know that I am being probably optimistic, but I would imagine that even most teens would understand that abstinence is the only sure fire method of birth control. Abstinence encouragement is what this is, and I am definitely not ok with the government encouraging people not to have sex... safe sex I can understand encouraging but the other... ok need to stop ranting.

Single people have this non-zero probability, by definition, of not having sex due to lack of partner, whereas many MARRIED people are having sex all the time!

THAT is the demographic we need to be addressing. Stop those married people from having sex! Because...because...well, I've kind of lost track of what the whole point of this is, but it's happening!!!
