Why must WFNX play "Jane Says" every single time I listen? Without fail! Seriously! I think they've played it the last six or seven times, some on consecutive drives home from work.

If they're playing the same song a lot during the same time period, why not email and complain about the rotation? Sounds like some DJ's just being lazy.

It's at any time of day! Morning, noon, afternoon, drive home... the most egregious example of it was just the consecutive drives home. I should maybe write a damn letter anyway.

whats fnx? Is that one of those stations with a # higher than 91? I gave up on em years ago for exactly the same reason...........they play the same 10 songs over and over and over again......"Jane Says"....is now classic rock......

It's billed as "TRUE ALTERNATIVE!!!!" -- I usually listen to WMBR or WERS (college stations) or WBUR (public radio, but I am not a fan of our local affiliate). In the next-best category, because three radio stations are not enough for any mere mortal, are a couple of candy-coated hip-hop stations and FNX, all three of whom play some good songs, some tolerable songs, and some annoying songs. FNX has more in rotation than a lot of other commercial radio, but I hate feeling the limitations of their playlist. I'm probably feeling the FNX problem acutely at the moment because I haven't bought enough new music recently.
