Okay. This morning, the cream cheese on my bagel tasted like it was about 10% sand. The actual flavor was fine, but the texture was so off I was stunned. It wasn't the slightly-plastic taste and feel of light cream cheese. I ate it for a while, and then asked signsoflife to try a bite.

She claims it was perfectly normal. oooOOOOooo. Personalized cream-cheese! It's only sandy for ME!

It's not a good superpower, but it'll do for today.

eBay! Sweet, glorious eBay. People sell nice maternity clothes there, for cheap!

Recently, zogathon loaned me a very lovely pair of jeans from Japanese Weekend that she can no longer wear, being a few months further in to this whole project than I am. I'm very happy with them -- they look great on me, while also making me look more pregnant. It's nice to have good-looking clothes that fit well. Later, I discovered they had no pockets.

Oh, clothing industry, why must you tease me so? I just want to carry around my work ID and a few dollars! I promise, I'll put my wallet in my coat pocket!

Ah well. I still look good. Also, all of my clothes are made of stretchy elastic fabric, these days. It's amazing what they can make stretchy! Even this white button-down thing I'm wearing today, which looks crisp and makes that nice crisp-blouse crinkly noise, is stretchy. I keep reaching down and making it go "sproing!"
