The most perfect fall-time pre-bike breakfast is homemade banana bread, warm and toasted, with whipped cream cheese spread on top and slightly melting.

(Yes, fall includes snow. Yes, snow in late October is perfectly normal. Yes, I grew up in Central Maine.)

The most perfect post-snowy-bike at-work welcome is ladytabitha with a little purple bat cookie, and coworker Eric telling me all about the new gym they're putting in to one of our buildings. No incredulous squeaks at my bike, just a calm "yeah, that's Molly". It felt good.
