Yeah, I know, pirates don't beep. Zombies don't beep, either. Well, fuck 'em. I do.
The house across the street for us is up for sale. Now, we're all in the market for a house, but it would be nice if it were in a neighborhood like ours and not way out in Malden. It would also be nice if it had several bedrooms, possibly space to rent out, and if it didn't cost a trillion dollars like houses in Davis Square seem to. So, we've resigned ourselves to a long hunt. And this morning, a house went on the market. Plenty of space. High ceilings. Grassy fenced-in backyard. Finished basement and attic. And it's never been turned into a multi-unit place, so there's no crappy slapdash work splitting it up. And it's across the street. I can't get over that.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high, but this kicks butt. C saw it today and liked it; David and C' and I will see it tomorrow morning before work. It's a good price, a great size, and it's still within eyeshot of the grocery store.
