Oh, my! I am actually going to Amsterdam. Neat!
I just got off the phone with my interim boss over there, and he seems like a great guy, very helpful and cool. He seemed excited that I spoke French, even though that's completely irrelevant to what I'm doing there. We had a nice conversation, set up some stuff for the class I'm teaching, and then it hit me (duh): I'm actually going! For a month! And, hey, that's pretty exciting. I'm not entirely sure how that had escaped me. So, y'all come visit!
