Sometimes, when I'm happy, I have this amazing urge to beep, as if to say: hey! important system event! I'm happy!

In OS X, backgrounded applications that have an alert for you hop up and down in the Dock in exactly the same way that I visualize myself doing when I'm happy. It's a little creepy.
