Hmm.

I feel suddenly alarmingly dizzy. Like my balance is all off, but I'm just sitting down. I'm drinking water and eating food, but it's still scary.

I've felt like that for about 48 hours now, and I'm not sure why.

OMG, I got that really bad back in december. I couldn't walk. or lie down for that matter.

Hope you get better. If it gets worse see a doctor-they gave me an anti-vertigo medication which made things much more manageable.

Feel better, everyone!

That can be inner-ear related. See a doctor if it continues; you may have an infection there.

Oh yeah, it totally feels how people with inner-ear problems seem to look. Blah, there are infections that cause that?

That happens to me all the time. Largely, it's blood sugar and not eating, though. Or tachacardia, but that was just the once.

There are half a billion things that can cause that, many of them relatively innocuous, and people have already mentioned some of the possibilities. Another is that you might be coming down with something and your white cell count is up to fight it off.

I came down with a huge dizzy fit one day when I was in high school, and a friend of the family, a doctor, saw me at the hospital and ran blood tests and my blood cell count was high enough to cause dizziness. And I even fought off the flu...I never did get actually sick. Just felt really weird for a day.

Yeah -- I feel like this sometimes, but I can usually suss why. (overexertion, dehydration, low blood sugar, low blood PRESSURE, etc). It's just none of the usual culprits.

I'd never heard that white cell count could cause dizziness. That's kinda cool, when you think about it.

I figure that whatever it is is innocuous. I hope it passes in time for me to bike home. :)

could easily be blood sugar. Especially if you just feel like you can't function. That happens to me quite often. Your could just be low.

Then again I am hypoglycemic.
