Rumors that Microsoft will buy Rational rather than IBM. I'd rather eat my own thumbs. People say they pay well, and that they're a good employer, but I'm glad that this whole thing is still just a rumor.

I kinda want to have a manual labor job for a while. Unloading crates of soda, or something. Of course, in my ideal world, I could do that while being paid adequately and also suddenly be able to do things like wear fur vests on the job.

They pay well? Man... I'm always the last to find out about these things.... the benefits are great, though. Plus, they'll print up business cards for you pretty much no questions asked, which is cool for about ten minutes.
