Yeah, it's why I haven't seen it, either. I can only hope that the inevitable sequel to the new Star Trek will include at least one more female character. Cinematical (http://www.cinematical.com/2009/05/12/new-trek-has-it-all-except-strong-female-characters/) agrees with you.
