It's election day, in the Second Middlesex state Senate district of Somerville, Medford, Woburn, and Winchester. Well, it's primary day for the special election to replace the late Charlie Shannon, and in Massachusetts, Democratic primaries *are* elections. So, if you live in my neighborhood, come on out and vote.

For some entertaining snarkiness, the Somerville NewsBlog comment thread on candidates is intermittently fun to read. FYI, the two candidates supporting same-sex marriage are Pat Jehlen and Joe Mackey.
