Chicago was a mixed bag, mostly good. I love that city, I love my friends there, I love the wide boulevards and smooth flat sidewalks that are practically purpose-built for skating. MUNUC was fun, but the kids weren't nearly cool enough to try to sneak boys and booze into their rooms and hide it in the closets. For the most part, they piped down precisely at curfew and played by all the rules. Sheesh. As always, it was fun to be intimidating and even more fun to be secretly quite goofy on the radio.

The sad part was not getting to see Michael-Blair-and-Daphne on Sunday - the bar we were going to hit didn't open until much later, and they were leaving just as David and I showed up, so we missed each other. Sigh. I know none of them will come to Boston. Daphne the rabidly unpredictable might show up, but it seems unlikely. We'll just have to go back. Maybe when the weather is nice and we can skate.

Side note: I want a Post Option that has "Current Book" alongside the Mood and Music options - what I'm reading seems to line up with my general mood pretty well.
