foodies: help!

If you wanted to eat one good meal in New York City, didn't eat meat (other than fish), and wanted reservations for this weekend, where would you go? Meat on the menu is absolutely fine, as long as there are nonmeat/fish options available as well.

Hmmm... Dawat (http://cityguide.aol.com/newyork/dining/venue.adp?sbid=106967358)?

Thanks!

Yes, that's the one! Mmmm. It was very pretty and elegant and had all the ritual of a fancy Indian dinner. The waiters were some of the politest I've ever met and the food was outstanding. A totally elegant yet relaxing meal.

Oh, you can make reservations and the prices were reasonable. Not cheap but reasonable ($14-$25ish) for entrees.
