I love this guy

Today, a link to one of my favorite artists I've found on flickr: ferklint.

Artist in his studio:

JUAN el COYOTE:

xiaolin:

recordando a kraftwerk:

taxidermistas:

de marcha por madrid:

I love so much about his work, but I won't go into detail about it right here and right now. But a little thing I love is the way that characters and scenes recur -- it's clear that on some level, he's just documenting his life, which not only gives the images continuity & additional emotional texture, but also gives me hope that some day I, too, could be that cool. :)

That last one is totally like "What if the Ceniza brothers ran a bar instead of a bookshop?" These are fun and simply beautiful.

they're too staged for my taste, but the technique and composition are excellent.

I'd love to hear why you love his work -- I like it but don't have the vocabulary to say why. Part of it is the color scheme, and the way the focus works is neat -- but that's as specific as I can get.
