As far as I can tell, Natalie has three beliefs about my job:

(1) There are dogs,
(2) Someone at work took my computer and won't give it back, and
(3) I eat french fries every day.

#1 and #2 are not true, but I see why she thinks them: she came to my holiday party and there were indeed dogs, and my OLD job gave me a laptop whereas the new one does not. But the french fries? No idea.

Well, your computer did mysteriously go away for reasons that are kind of hard to understand. On the other hand, just the image of her saying "perk!" is overwhelmingly adorable.

I now want to know what I thought about work when *I* was 2!

Maybe it's wishful thinking? I'd like to eat french fries every day for sure!

i was thinking something along those lines. you know how you think "when i grow up, i will stay up reading as late as i want!" (okay, maybe only i thought that.) i am sure i would have thought "when i grow up, i will eat french fries every day!" if i had thought about it a little more.

I would point out that Molly has only said that numbers 1 and 2 are untrue. I suspect N smells french fry breath when Molly gets home from work, and comes to the logical conclusion. ;)

I promise you, I have eaten fries exactly once in the 2.5 months I've been here, and I don't think I even mentioned it!

Hmm, who to believe? A moomin whose journal often skirts the edge of silliness and whimsy, or a little girl who loves potatoes? Hmm ...

It is good you have doggies were you work on howlidays. But you should have them every day!

You should teach little N how to make yums for the doggies. Then you can send dem to me.

btw, there are a whole clump of guys at my new job that did support work on ClearCase from an office based in Lexington. any chance you know any of them?
