So we did this thing at Burning Man called Snack Food Glory Hole, right? The premise was simple:

Line up, kneel, get a mysterious snack from a stranger shoved through a hole into your mouth. It went over pretty well. But, alas, we're not doing Burning Man this year, and Snack Food Glory Hole is taking a little hiatus. However, it turns out that someone else took the concept and restaged it at CONvergence! Apparently there is some kind of law of conservation of snack foods at work here.

I didn't indulge at CONvergence, but from what I hear it went over beautifully.

Also, I think they should send you a button in tribute.

Oh, wait, that's probably not the reaction you wanted, right?

Incidentally, after a few years of me doing Luftwaffle, The Onion had one of those front page story summary things that made the same wordplay (they also used my backup joke: Blintzkrieg). I have no idea if they came up with it independently or not.
