I admit it:
I like this weather. It's grey and rainy, and after the first morning of adjusting to having no light, I find it kind of relaxing. I'm not really biking this spring, so I don't feel cheated out of good-weather rides. I have a car that I can drive to work in, and a watertight bedroom to sleep in. So, all I feel is a cool drizzle on my face when I go outside, and the pleasure of snuggling up under warm blankets (with a warm, feverish man) when I get home. Rain makes it so nice to be inside -- and if I know I have someplace to go at night, I don't even mind being wet. It's nice.
(I especially love this kind of weather for a day or two in the summer, as a break from all of that sunny stuff.)

all year 'round... I fear we are being cheated out of spring, though,
and that it will go straight into Summer after this is done.

And I love the feeling of cool mist on my face, and not having to wear sunglasses.

25/30 days in MAY being cold and rainy is not acceptable.

I hated this weather yesterday, but then I spent some time on my porch last night and dawn this morning, listening to the patter of the rain on the leaves, watching the trees sway in the breeze...and all was better.

I think I might have to move somewhere even *more* dismal than Boston, someday. mmmm rain!

(And, what others have said. Cool and rainy is one thing, but for nearly ALL of May?)
