I'm with you. I used to work 12 hour days in order to get 8 hours of work done -- before The Kid, we could do that. Now I can't afford to do that, and everyone suffers for it.
I've kept this (http://blogs.hbr.org/bregman/2010/09/a-practical-plan-for-when-you-1.html) advice up in my web browser to look at and ponder, but I'm not making a concerted enough effort to follow it. So here's to turning on Firefox's "LeechBlock" and trying again. But it's hard. Any interruption pops me out of the task and into "hey, what's on the web right now?" space.
