Er... and other people seem to have Real Problems, which make mine just seem petty.

For years after Something Really Bad happened to me, people wouldn't tell me their troubles for exactly that feeling. It took a lot of convincing to get even my closest friends to be willing to talk about breakups or sick pets or financial woes or job stress because After All, It Could Be Worse.

So I think as a result of that period, I don't have that particular hangup. Hard problems are still hard, even if there are harder ones in the world. I promise.
