wotta weekend

Some serious shit happened on Saturday night at a party David and I weren't feeling well enough to attend. In a lot of ways I wish I'd been there -- I think I could have helped out a little -- but thank god (not using that word lightly) everyone ended up healthy and OK. I think everyone has landed: learning that made me shaky in the post-adrenaline way that you can be once you don't have to stand up anymore.

Probably the most bipolar 48 hours I could have imagined, since there were some other truly excellent bits that made me feel completely fucking blessed to be who and when and where I am. Threads crossed, folks met, old wounds were noticed to have healed, and beauty was had by all.

what happened: long story. basically, bad reactions to a drug leading to lots of muck.

what crowd: a non-UofC bunch of Boston folx.
