what is an oprah?
Mar. 5th, 2003 09:36 amI've got a spring in my step this morning, which is a pleasant change from the last couple of grumpy discombobulated days. D and I had a nice cozy night last night snuggled up in bed watching Stargate SG-1 DVDs on the laptop. I blame
ectropy.
I've been getting a lot of Reunion crud in the mail over the past few months. They're including a lot of watered-down propaganda, too, as if three washed-out photos of the Botany Pond are going to make me forget that the GLORY DAYS they want me to RELIVE (which are nearly lost in the mists of five yeeeeears ago) were really sort of anticlimactic and uninteresting. At least, none of my really great memories are in any way tied to my class. I took some great courses, but none of them were Core; I had a few friends, but none of them were my age. I'm not sure who they're selling to, but it's not me. Does anyone have fond memories of the Botany Pond? Bah! They should have included a drunken photo of Wing Night or something. At least I'd have grinned.
Why is it more decadent to watch a DVD in bed than it is to watch a television screen *from* the bed? Unknown! It seems to be, though.
